Getting ready for Easter

Eggs can be a tricky ingredient to get younger children to like and try. My kids’ favourite when they were young was eggy bread, which has a fantastic, uncurdled texture. Simply beat a couple of eggs with a splash of milk. Heat a non-stick pan with a little olive oil and butter. Dip your sliced bread in the egg mixture and pan fry for a couple of minutes until golden brown. Serve with baked beans or drizzle with honey or chocolate sauce for a special treat.

Revolution in the Kitchen!
11-March-2011
Over at Netmums we’ve been busy leading a revolution. No we’re not planning on overthrowing the government, but we are hoping to shift the focus of both the media and ordinary mums from being ‘perfect’ to being ‘real’. The Netmums Real Parenting Revolution (www.netmums.com/realparenting) is calling for Mums across the country to ditch the guilt and embrace being a ‘good enough’ parent.
