Line your loaf

To line a loaf tin,
1. Grease the loaf tin.

2. Cut a piece of greaseproof paper to fit the widest sides of the loaf tin and cover the base and sides of the loaf tin with about 5 cm (2 in) overhang

3. Press the paper into the greased tin. You do not need to line the ends of the tin.

4. Loosen the cake with a palette knife before turning out.
