Bacon Topped Turkey Joint

A roast dinner always deserves a special centrepiece, so why not serve up our delicious Turkey Joint - wonderfully succulent and juicy, topped with rashers of tender bacon, it's perfect for a memorable roast dinner.

How to Cook

Defrost in a refrigerator for 24 hours.

Remove from the freezer and place in the fridge for 24 hours.

Once defrosted, use immediately. 

 

Oven from defrost (1 hour 15 mins)

Pre-heat 200ºC/Fan 180ºC/Gas Mark 6. Remove sleeve and film from foil tray. Place on a baking tray into the middle of the oven. Cook for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Leave to stand for 10 minutes before carving.

Oven from frozen (2 hours)

Pre-heat oven 200ºC/Fan 180ºC/Gas Mark 6. Remove sleeve and film from foil tray. Cover loosely with foil. Place on a baking tray into the middle of the oven.Cook for 1 hour and 30 minutes then remove the foil covering and return to the oven for a further 30 minutes. Leave to stand for 10 minutes before carving. 

Air Fry from frozen (1 hour - 1 hour 10 mins)

Pre-heat air fryer to 150ºC for 3 minutes 30 seconds. Remove all packaging. Place product in basket and place in air fryer. Cook for 1 hour to 1 hour 10 minutes. Allow to rest for 10 minutes before carving.

Storage Instructions

Keep Frozen at -18ºC or colder.

For best before, see front of pack.

Do NOT refreeze after defrosting.

Ensure the product is piping hot, thoroughly cooked, juices run clear and no pink colour remains before serving. The turkey may be slightly pink on the surface due to being in contact with the bacon, this will not affect the eating quality.
